SILA is a ground-breaking national capacity building and leadership program designed specifically for CEOs of Australian for-purpose organisations.
Over five years, SILA will be offered to for-purpose leaders from all states and territories across Australia. Current participants in Cohort One (2021-2022) are based in NSW and the ACT and applications are now open for Cohort Two, for CEOs based in VIC and TAS (2022-2023), until 15 April.
SILA is an initiative of the Sidney Myer Fund and The Myer Foundation, The Paul Ramsay Foundation and the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation, who together have made a commitment of $9 million over five years to the program. SILA is designed to meet the needs of Australian for-purpose CEOs to help build the capacity of their organisations through leadership development, organisational capacity building and tailored executive coaching.
Delivered by the Centre for Social Impact at UNSW, SILA aims to disrupt common ideas of leadership to create greater social impact across Australia.
Applications for Cohort Two are encouraged from across Victoria and Tasmania, including from rural and regional applicants.
